Solstizio d’estate
Nel giorno più lungo dell’anno l’universo si mostra nella sua magica natura ciclica, in tutta la sua potenza e nel suo splendore. Le ore di luce sono le più abbondanti di sempre e vengono a ricordarci che è proprio sull’abbondanza che dobbiamo mettere la nostra attenzione: così come la natura si mostra nella sua fioritura, nella sua bellezza e nei suoi profumi più intensi, nel tempo della raccolta dei doni e dei frutti, il consiglio è quello di volgere la nostra attenzione alla nostra vita e permetterle di fare altrettanto.
Sono pronto/a a far fiorire la mia vita? Sono pronto/a a raccogliere i frutti e farne un dono per me e per tutta l’umanità?
In questo giorno particolare in cui abbiamo il massimo dello Yang (sole, luce, energia maschile, dare), abbiamo anche il piccolo Yin (luna, buio, energia femminile, ricevere) nella sua manifestazione più ridotta. Questo ci ricorda l’insegnamento del Tao che vede nella mezzaluna bianca un punto nero e viceversa. Cosa significa? Che per conoscere la luce, dobbiamo fare esperienza del buio; così come per conoscere il buio, dobbiamo fare esperienza della luce. Infatti, ogni aspetto è essenziale per noi al fine della comprensione e della nostra consapevolezza. Il piccolo Yin, che nel Solstizio d’estate accompagna il massimo Yang, ci ricorda i momenti bui della nostra vita che sono stati necessari per riconoscere ed apprezzare la luce della gioia e dell’amore; ma ci richiama anche alla necessità del silenzio e del raccoglimento per ascoltare il nostro io profondo, le nostre emozioni e i nostri desideri per manifestarli poi come intenti e realizzazioni alla luce del massimo Yang, che tutto nutre e fa risplendere.
Ecco che il Solstizio d’estate, così come quello d’inverno, si manifestano nel loro ciclico e rassicurante splendore, come in una danza in cui la stella del palcoscenico si alterna all’altra senza mai scendere, ma guardando il proprio compagno/a con l’amore e la generosità di chi sa aspettare il proprio turno lasciando spazio all’altro, per poi tornare a manifestarsi all’apice nel momento giusto.
E tu sai muoverti in questa danza della vita? Ti invito a farlo oggi: celebra, balla, canta a Dio e alla natura, all’infinita bellezza che ti circonda e che ancora una volta ti ricorda la meraviglia dell’esistenza.
Summer solstice
On the longest day of the year, the universe shows itself in its magical cyclical nature, in all its power and majesty. The hours of light are the most abundant of the whole year and come to remind us that it is precisely on the abundance that we must put our attention on. Just as nature shows itself in its flowering, in its beauty and in its most intense perfumes, in the time of collecting gifts and fruits, the suggestion is to turn our attention to our life and allow it to do the same.
Am I ready to make my life blossom? Am I ready to reap the fruits and make them a gift for me and for the whole humanity?
On this particular day when we have the maximum of the Yang (sun, light, male energy, to give), we also have the small Yin (moon, dark, female energy, to receive) in its most reduced manifestation. his is to remind us of the teaching of the Tao which sees a black dot in the white half moon and vice versa. What does it mean? In order to know the light, we must experience the dark; as well as to know the dark, we must experience the light. In fact, every aspect is essential for us for our understanding and awareness. Little Yin, who accompanies the maximum Yang in the Summer Solstice, reminds us of the dark moments of our life that were necessary to recognize and appreciate the light of joy and love. In addition, it also reminds us of the need for silence and recollection to listen to our deep self, our emotions and our desires to then manifest them as intents and realizations in the light of the maximum Yang, which nourishes and makes everything shine.
Here the summer solstice, as well as the winter solstice, manifest themselves in their cyclic and reassuring beauty, like in a ballet where the star of the stage alternates with the other without ever disappearing, but looking at its partner with the love and generosity of those who know how to wait for its turn, leaving space for the other, and then returning to manifest itself at its peak at the right time.
